When you’re using the reel in baitfeeder mode you can adjust the drag using the rear drag micro-adjuster, which you can find on the rear of the reel. When you’re using this reel in a fish playing mode you can adjust the drag using a front drag adjust. Both drag adjustment systems click to allow for precision adjustment – allowing you to tailor your reels performance to your exact needs.

The Longbow Baitfeeder comes fitted with an aluminium spool, which is both lightweight and hardwearing. This spool can hold 230 yards of 15lb line, which is perfect for most coarse and carp fishing applications. For those anglers who like to have the choice it also comes with a spare graphite spool as standard. This graphite spool has the same specifications as the aluminium version, so the Longbow Baitfeeder really does let you set your reel up to accommodate all your personal preferences.

A computer equalising rotor ensures that the reel is completely balanced and the Longbow Baitfeeder also features six ball bearings. Five of these are stainless steel ball bearings, to ensure the longevity of your reel, and the final bearing is a one-way roller bearing. Ball bearings are essential for ensuring the smooth performance of your reel and the Longbow Baitfeeder runs like a reel double its price.
