Description

Built with the AKIOS Tri-Axial Carbon Matrix, a multi-directional fibre architecture with optimised 0°, ±45°, and 90° fibre orientations, the blank delivers supercharged casting performance. Staggered carbon flags and variable taper geometry ensure smooth energy loading and controlled power release throughout the cast.

Manufactured from ultra-low-resin, high-modulus carbon fibre prepreg and autoclave-cured under high compression, the blank offers ultra-fast recovery and explosive energy transfer. Enhanced torque resistance prevents twist, maintaining precise guide alignment, while progressive power distribution allows the rod to load smoothly, maximising casting efficiency and distance from minimal effort.

Equipped with Fuji KWAG guides with ultra-low friction ceramic inserts, optimised for minimal line drag, and spaced using finite element modelling (FEM) to reduce stress peaks and maximise blank efficiency. The anti-torsion layout aligns the guide train along the rod’s structural power axis, ensuring maximum stability during powerful casts and when fighting fish.

The rod’s finely tuned carboglass tip, blending glass fibre with precision-overlaid carbon fibre, delivers the bite sensitivity of glass while providing high-velocity recovery for more efficient and powerful casting.
